Phase II – Week 20

Despite the recent weather, week 20 was all about progress outside. The new retaining wall around the basketball court has been poured, you can catch a glimpse just under the rain tarps:
We were also finally able to locate the curb connection where the downspouts exit, so we can get that cleaned out and working. No more water backing up on the basketball court:
New steel grating has arrived for the existing window wells, so all of the grating will be safe and uniform in appearance:
Downstairs, the kitchenette has been drywalled and the kitchen is getting cement board for floor to ceiling tile:
The plumbers have moved on to finishing the pledge wing bathroom, and it’s looking much better than it used to:
Up on third floor, it’s difficult to photograph but the second coat of joint compound is on the walls and the textured ceilings are finished, which means soon we’ll be ready for paint:
And last, probably the most dramatic change, the wall tile in the third floor bathroom is almost complete:
