Phase II – Week 15

Week 15 brings big changes in the basement. In the old portion of the house, ductwork and framing are starting to define the spaces:
In the newly excavated crawl space, the walls are up, showing how large these 4-man suites will be:
Additionally, new structural steel to support the turnaround in the chapter room has been installed:
Throughout the house, fire sprinkler heads are continuing to pop up. In the main floor spaces, the sprinklers are being carefully fitted from above so as not to disturb the historic finishes:
The insulation crew has also been busy, as all of the exterior walls have been spray-foamed for an air-tight and energy-efficient seal:
One inspection down means we’re that much closer to starting drywall work and beginning the finishes:
