Phase II – Week 26

It’s hard to believe but in less than two months everyone will be unpacking boxes and moving in for another school year. Our progress in this update reflects that, as you can really start to see parts of the house coming together. For starters, the new front walk and steps gives a great first impression of the chapter house:

Another nice addition is the flag pole, standing proudly in the east front lawn:

The basketball pole is back up, and if their calculations for that new court are correct, should be at regulation height:

The welders have been busy completing modifications to the fire stair before it gets a fresh coat of paint:

Down in the kitchen, the ceiling grid is going up quickly:

And up in the rooms, the finishing touches are starting to come together, with air grills, outlets, switches, tack strips, and lights all going in:

Even the lighting in the bathrooms is finished, giving you a much better idea of the space than temporary construction lighting ever did:
