Phase II – Week 7

The arrival of large gas heaters on first floor signals the progress for week seven. The heaters are needed for the Gyp-crete pour needed on second and third floor of the old wing to bring the floors up to level:
Demolition is almost finished on second floor, with the layout looking much more open these days:
Brothers Tom Salistean ’06 and Kenton M. Moore ’06 take one last shower on second floor:
On third floor, demolition is complete, which included erection of a temporary supporting wall once the hallway walls were removed. The only walls remaining will stay in the new layout. As mentioned, Gyp-crete was poured to bring the differing floor heights all up to the same level, and is currently curing with the help of the heaters:
